White Sauce

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon flour
6-7 tablespoons cheddar cream cheese
2 cup milk
Salt - to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Take a pan and melt butter on medium flame.
Mix in the flour and sitr constantly till flour becomes bubbly and darker in color. It will take almost 2 mins.
Take the pan off the flame and let is cool for a few mins.
Mix in milk and mix well to avoid lumps.
Put pan back on flame stirring till the sauce becomes thick.
Add in cream cheese, salt and black pepper.
Cook for another minute
Take off flame.

White sauce is used in mostly Italian dishes and is the base of other sauces. It is used in sandwiches, lasagna, casseroles, soups, gravies and sauces.
