Chinese Fried Rice
 

Ingredients Of Chinese Fried Rice

2 cups rice, washed and soaked for half an hour
1 capsicum, cut in stripes
1 carrot, cut in stripes
2 green onion, chopped, only green part
2 eggs, beaten with little yellow color
2tbsp Worchester sauce
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup oil
Salt to taste
1 tbsp soya sauce
Black pepper to taste
White pepper to taste

Method Of Chinese Fried Rice

Boil the water in a wok for rice. When water start boiling then add rice. Cook it till the rice are done. Now drain them and put them aside.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic. Add eggs and stir them continually. When eggs are cooked then add all vegetables, salt, black and white pepper. Mix it and add rice in it.
Now add Worchester sauce and soya sauce. Cover it and cook it on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
Serve with any Chinese gravy.

Chicken Manchurian



Ingredients Of Chicken Manchurian
300 gm boneless chicken
4 garlic cloves, chopped
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
3tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 capsicum, chopped
1 spring onion, chopped (only green part)
1/2 lemon
4 slices pineapple, chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
White pepper to taste
2 tbsp Worchester sauce
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp corn flour

Method Of Chicken Manchurian

Put chicken in a bowl and add 2 chopped garlic, white pepper, black pepper, salt,1/2 egg, flour and 1tbsp oil. Mix it and deep fry it. Set aside.
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add 2 cloves of chopped garlic and fry it. Add capsicum, green onion and sauté it. Now add pineapple and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
Add fried chicken, tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt, black and white pepper and mix it. Now add 1 cup water and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
Now add Worchester sauce. Dissolve corn flour in little water and put it in Manchurian gravy. Stir it and cook till it thickens.
Before serving pour some drops of lemon juice. Serve it with fried rice.

      Cranberry / Strawberry Pie

      Ingredients
      • Butter, For Greasing
      • 2 cups (heaping) Cranberries
      • ¾ cups Pecans, Chopped (measure, Then Chop)
      • ⅔ cups Sugar
      • 1 cup Flour
      • 1 cup Sugar
      • 1 stick Unsalted Butter, melted
      • 2 whole Eggs, Lightly Beaten
      • 1 teaspoon Pure Almond Extract
      • ¼ teaspoons Salt
      • 1 Tablespoon Sugar For Sprinkling

      Preparation Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
      Generously butter a cake pan or pie pan. Add cranberries to the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle on chopped pecans, then sprinkle on 2/3 cup sugar.
      In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, melted butter, eggs, almond extract, and salt. Stir gently to combine.
      Pour batter slowly over the top in large “ribbons” in order to evenly cover the surface. Spread gently if necessary.
      Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. 5 minutes before removing from oven, sprinkle surface with 1 tablespoon sugar for a little extra crunch.
      Cut into wedges and serve with ice cream or freshly whipped cream.

      Incidentally, this usually isn’t of monumental consequence, but note that there is a difference in recipes between
      * 1/2 cup chopped pecans (this means you chop them, then measure them)

      Gently spread it to fill in any holes, if necessary, then bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
      When you have about 5 to 10 minutes to go, Open the oven door, pull out the rack on which the pan sits, and sprinkle some sugar over the top. This’ll give the surface a little texture and crunch.

      And the taste. Oh, dear. The cranberries, while sweet, still retained enough tartness to set them apart from other, sweeter, fruits. I love that there were some large pieces of cranberries. Gave it great texture.

      INGREDIENTS

      1 tablespoon butter
      1 cup boneless chicken
      1 tablespoon vinegar
      1 tablespoon soy sauce
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1/2 teaspoon blackpepper
      1/2 teaspoon crushed red chilies
      4 tablespoon white sauce
      12 bread slices

      DIRECTIONS

      Take a large sauce pan and melt butter. Add in chicken alongwith all ingredients except white sauce.

      Fry chicken till it slighty changes color and add in 1/2 cup of water. Cook on low flame till tender and just a bit of sauce is left.

      Shred chicken and mix in white sauce.

      Cut the edges of bread, spead the mixture on the slices and put them together. Cut into half in traingle shape.

      Serves 12 ... :)

      White Sauce

      INGREDIENTS

      2 tablespoon butter
      2 tablespoon flour
      6-7 tablespoons cheddar cream cheese
      2 cup milk
      Salt - to taste
      1/2 teaspoon black pepper

      DIRECTIONS

      Take a pan and melt butter on medium flame.
      Mix in the flour and sitr constantly till flour becomes bubbly and darker in color. It will take almost 2 mins.
      Take the pan off the flame and let is cool for a few mins.
      Mix in milk and mix well to avoid lumps.
      Put pan back on flame stirring till the sauce becomes thick.
      Add in cream cheese, salt and black pepper.
      Cook for another minute
      Take off flame.

      White sauce is used in mostly Italian dishes and is the base of other sauces. It is used in sandwiches, lasagna, casseroles, soups, gravies and sauces.

      Vegetable Fried Rice

      VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

      INGREDIENTS

      2 cup rice
      1 cup carrots (grated)
      ½ cup bell peppers (chopped)
      ½ cup cabbage (chopped)
      1 teaspoon salt
      1 teaspoon black pepper
      1 cup green onions
      2 tablespoon soy sauce
      1 tablespoon vinegar
      I tablespoon garlic paste
      Oil as required.

      DIRECTIONS

      Boil 2 cup of rice and keep aside.

      Take a large sized wok and add 2 tablespoon oil.

      Put in carrots, cabbage and bell peppers and stir fry for about a minute.

      Mix in salt, black pepper, chinese salt, vinegar and soy sauce.

      Take off heat and add in the green onions.

      Add in rice and mix properly with the help of a wooden spoon or a saucer.

      CHICKEN FRIED RICE

      CHICKEN FRIED RICE

      INGREDIENTS

      2 cup rice
      1 cup carrots (grated)
      ½ cup bell peppers (chopped)
      ½ cup cabbage (chopped)
      1 egg (beaten)
      1 cup chicken (boneless)
      1 teaspoon salt
      1 teaspoon black pepper
      1 cup green onions
      2 tablespoon soy sauce
      1 tablespoon vinegar
      I tablespoon garlic paste
      Oil as required.

      DIRECTIONS

      Boil 2 cup of rice and keep aside.

      Take a pan and add 1 tablespoon oil. Add in the garlic paste and saute for a min, add in the chicken and cook till tender adding ½ cup water. Properly dry the water. Take out and shred it and keep aside.

      In another pan, add 1 tablespoon oil and add in the beaten egg. Fry in stirring in constantly like scrambled way. After cooked. With the help of fork break in into more smaller pieces. Keep aside.

      Take a large sized wok and add 2 tablespoon oil.

      Put in carrots, cabbage and bell peppers and stir fry for about a minute.

      Mix in salt, black pepper, chines salt, vinegar and soy sauce.

      Take off heat and add in the green onions, chicken, and egg.

      Add in rice and mix properly with the help of a wooden spoon or a saucer.

      Serves 5 ... :)

      CHOW MEIN


      BEEF CHOW MEIN

      INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATION

      1 cup beef ( ½ inch bite sized cubes)

      1 tablespoon oil

      1 tablespoon salt

      1 tablespoon corn flour

      1 tablespoon soy sauce

      ½ teaspoon black pepper

      Mix all ingredients together and put for marination for ½ hour

      INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE

      3 tablespoon oil

      ½ teaspoon ginger paste

      ½ teaspoon garlic paste

      ½ cup cabbage (shredded)

      ½ cup bell peppers ( ½ inch cubes)

      ½ cup carrots (boiled, round shape)

      ½ cup chicken stock

      1 tablespoon woshtershire sauce

      ½ teaspoon chili sauce

      1 tablespoon soy sauce

      ½ teaspoon salt

      ½ teaspoon black pepper

      1 tablespoon corn flour

      Water – as required

      DIRECTIONS

      Take Half a packet noodles and boil according to direction given.

      Put oil in a pan or a wok and mix in garlic and ginger paste, saute for a few mins and start adding in all the vegetables.

      Stir fry for about a minute and take the vegetables out leaving the remaining oil in the pan.

      In the same wok or pan add in the marinated meat, fry properly till tender (add some water for beef).

      Once the meat is cooked start adding in the other ingredients like stock, Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, salt and black pepper.

      Bring to boil and mix in the fried vegetables.

      Mix 1 tablespoon cornflour to ½ cup water and stir in the pan stirring constantly on low flame.

      Cook for about 2 mins and mix in the boiled noodles.

      Spicy Fried Chicken drumsticks

      Spicy Fried Chicken drumsticks

      Ingredients

      1 teaspoon salt
      1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
      1 tablespoon crushed red chilies
      1/2 teaspoon oregano powder
      1 teaspoon mustard powder
      1 tablespoon garlic crushed
      2 tablespoon paprika powder
      4 tablespoon lemon juice
      1 tablespoon coriander powder
      8 - 10 chicken drumsticks (pricked with fork)
      1/2 cup yogurt

      For Coating

      2 cup plain flour
      2 tablespoon cornstarch
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1/2 tablespoon crushed black pepper

      Directions

      In a large bowl combine all ingredients into yogurt except chicken to make a paste.

      Add chicken drumsticks and mix together till well coated.

      Refrigerate for at least 3 hours and for best results keep overnight.

      In another bowl mix all the ingredients for the coating. Take each drumstick and coat it with the flour mixture till properly coated and set aside.

      Deep fry on medium flame for approximately 20 min till golden brown.

      Strawberry and Banana milkshake


      Ingredients

      4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
      1 medium banana, sliced
      2 cups yogurt
      1 cup ice cubes

      Blend strawberries, banana, and yogurt until smooth. With blender running, add ice cubes, one at a time, through hole in the lid.
      Pour into 8 small glasses. If desired, garnish with kiwifruit.

      Serve immediately.

      Makes 6 - 8 servings depending on size of glass....

      Strawberry & Yoghurt MilkShake





      Ingredients

      1 cup strawberry
      2 cup youghut
      2 cups milk
      4 tablepoon honey or 3 tablespoon sugar

      Blend all the above ingredient till smooth. Top with ice and blend again.

      Serve chilled!

      Serves 5 .... :)
      Spicy Chicken Steak

      Ingredients

      4 breast fillets
      1 tablespoon mustard powder
      1 teaspoon black pepper
      1 tablespoon grounded red chilies
      1 egg
      ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
      Soya sauce – 1 tablespoon
      Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
      Salt to taste
      Bread crumbs (as required)
      Butter (for frying)

      Method

      Pound the breast fillets and keep them aside.
      Add all the ingredients except the egg and marinate for one hour.
      Beat the egg and add half of it to the marinated chicken. Mix thoroughly.
      Dip each fillet into breadcrumbs.
      Take 3 tablespoon butter and fry steaks on low flame till each side turns golden brown.

      Serve with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables.

      Serves 4 :)

      Strawberry Cheese Cake

      Strawberry Cheese Cake

      So i decided to share the recipes i usually have tried and which are perfect, i went to a party and decided to take this homemade delicious cake which was basically made perfect by trying it 3 times and ever since that day, this has been the perfect cake ever.
      Its easy to find, easy to understand, easy to prepare, easy clean-up AND easily achieved delicious results.

      Ingredients

      For the biscuit layer

      150g Graham cracker crums or crushed digestive biscuits
      2 tbsp melted butter
      2 tbsp caster sugar
      ½ tbsp freshly grated lemon zest, very finely chopped.

      For the strawberry layer

      1 tbsp lemon juice
      1 tbsp water
      2 tsp cornflour, dissolved in a little cold water or orange juice
      100g/4oz caster sugar
      1kg/2lb 3¼oz strawberries, cleaned and sliced

      For the cheesecake layer

      2 eggs
      1/2 cup sugar
      1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
      3 packets of 8 ounces creamcheese, room temperature (I prefer Philadelphia cream cheese)
      1 packet of 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
      1/4 cup lemon juice

      Method

      Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, lemon zest and butter. Press onto the bottom of an ungreased 9 inch. springform pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

      In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until slightly fluffy. Beat in condensed milk. Add lemon juice; blend well. Add eggs, beat on low just until combined.

      Pour the cream cheese mixture over crust. Bake 300 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Run a knife to loosen ends and to avoid cracks, Cool for an 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight. Remove side of pan.

      Sauce

      In a blender or food processor, combine strawberries, cornstarch, water, sugar and lemon juice. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil and keep stirring for 2 minutes, Add 2 drops of red food color to give a better look.
      Pour sauce over the cheese cake. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

      Serves 16. Enjoy... :)

      Lemon Chicken with Garlic Sauce

      LEMON CHICKEN WITH GARLIC SAUCE

      Ingredients for Chicken Marination

      250gm Chicken (breast fillets)
      Half beaten egg
      1 teaspoon cornstarch
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
      1/2 teaspoon black pepper

      Ingredients for Chicken Coating

      1/3 cup flour
      1 tablespoon cornflour
      1/2 teaspoon baking powder
      Salt to taste
      Water to make paste
      Oil for frying

      Ingredients for Garlic Sauce

      1 cup chicken stock
      2 tablespoon lemon juice
      1 tablespoon red vinegar
      1 tablespoon ketchup
      2 cloves garlic (crushed)
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1/2 teaspoon black pepper
      1 tablespoon cornstarch

      Method

      Take the chicken in a bowl and add all the ingredients. Mix properly and put for marination for 15 mins. While the chicken is marinated you can make the coating for the chicken.

      Mix all the dry ingredients i,e flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add water till a thick mixture is made.
      Coat the marinated breast fillets. Deep fry till golden brown.

      In a pot add chicken stock, lemon juice, red vinegar, ketchup, garlic, salt and black pepper. Bring to boil and add cornstarch added in half a cup of water. keep stirring till sauce gets thick.

      Cut the fried chicken into long pieces and pour sauce on top.

      Serve with plain or garlic rice. :)

      Strawberry And Orange Cooler


      A tasty and cheerful refreshing drink! Strawberries are good to eat whole and raw but there are different ways in which they can be used. I decided to use it as a drink with no sugar. Simple and absolutely delicious.

      INGREDIENTS


      1 litre Orange Juice
      2 cups Strawberries (cleaned)
      2 tablespoons of lemon juice
      3-4 mint leaves.
      Ice Cubes - 10 - 15 pieces

      Place ice cubes, half of the orange juice and strawberries into a blender, Blend till all the stawberries are liquified, pour rest of the orange juice and lemon juice. Crush mint leaves and add in the juice. A easy and healthy drink is ready. Serve Chilled.

      Serves 5..... :)
